Figurehead

No jester-face, no harlequin but the prettiest side of the Hidden King

Watch your face though its only half see what makes us smile see what makes us laugh

The tip of the iceberg the front of the sail and the flag on the mast

We watch as we sink we were warned ahead you’re so much more that that

The gavel comes down you’re what its about you’re what it’s about

Figurehead, cannon, figurehead, cannon, figurehead, captain and judge.

Pestilence, famine, war, flame, evil all and just the same.

Children’s thoughts brought only fitting thinking you were only kidding

Even demons do your bidding! We are sitting still still sitting.

Full of love full of joy just and true…

The tip of the iceberg the front of the sail and the flag on the mast

We watch as we sink we were warned ahead you’re so much more that that

The gavel comes down you’re what its about you’re what it’s about

Figurehead, cannon, figurehead, cannon, figurehead, captain and judge.

Oh captain my captain
